Creating Compelling and Effective Visual Presentations

Join us on Tuesday, July 14 when we will offer a helpful and informative topic that many of us may struggle with on occasion: The creation of compelling and effective visual presentations.

Michael Scofield, an Assistant Professor of Health Information Management at Loma Linda University, will discuss “How NOT to Abuse PowerPoint (and Torment Your Audience).” You’ll learn tips and techniques on how to improve your presentations and how to avoid the common pitfalls that can distract audiences from receiving your messages.

About our Speaker:
Michael Scofield is an Asst. Professor of Health Information Management at Loma Linda University. He is a frequent speaker and author in topics of data management, data quality, data visualization, and data warehousing. His professional experience includes education, finance, and manufacturing industries.   He has shared his knowledge in his areas of expertise to audiences across the United States, and has also extended his speaking engagements into Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
