February 9: How to Pitch an Idea and Get it Heard
February 9, 2016 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
You are encouraged to be innovative in your organization, field, and industry. You get an idea. How do you convince others to do something about it? Bringing an idea to someone with the power to do something with it is called a pitch, and there’s more to it than just talk.
In this session, we will discuss:
- The essential elements of a pitch
- How to make your pitch persuasive, and
- How to identify the right audience for your pitch.
Bring your ideas, note taking tools, and questions and be prepared to leave with even more ideas.
Join us for this Network and Knowledge event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at JT Schmid’s located at The District in Tustin. Appetizers will be served. Happy hour prices will be honored for adult beverages until 6:30 p.m.
