IABC CMP® & SCMP® Exam
May 1 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
As a business communicator, professional certification can elevate your career and help keep your skills fresh and applicable. It provides a great opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge and expertise. And it could help you land your next big opportunity or perform at a higher level in your current role.
Are you ready to get started?
A key component of the GCCC certification process (included in Section B) is training experience. Within two-years of an examination date, CMP requires 40 hours of training and SCMP requires 20 hours to be demonstrated. There are several activities (with and without fees) that may be applied toward the required hours. Examples include participation in IABC chapter meetings, conferences, workshops, and completion of Learning Center modules, and classes offered by academic institutions and commercial entities. For each training, be sure to document the following: title of the training program, association or organization providing training, date of completion, hours completed, and signed documentation or certificate (if unavailable, record contact name, title, email, phone information for training program representative). For more information on the certification process, visit gcccouncil.org/faqs.
